There is no regular monthly cost to play The Lord of the Rings Online TCG. Instead, you purchase digital cards to play the game with. To get started, choose one of the following registration packages. Additional cards are available in-game in several ways, including participating in tournaments or draft games, as well as purchasing them from the online store.
Account Registration
While limited play will be possible with pre-set starter decks in the guest lobby, in order to purchase cards or event passes, and participate in tournaments, you must have an account. You can create an account by purchasing one of the registration packages below. All registrations also receive both a physical and digital copy of the alternate images Aragorn, Captain of Gondor, promotional card, while supplies last. This card is exclusive to the online game, and cannot be obtained any other way.

All prices listed are in US dollars. All cards, packs, and decks, except for the physical "Aragorn, Captain of Gondor" promo card, are digital cards only, and do not include physical versions of the respective cards, packs, or decks.
Card Pricing
While every account registration comes with cards, you may want to increase your choices by adding additional cards to your collection. Cards are available from the online store in Starter Decks, which provide a pre-made deck ready to play, and booster packs, which provide 11 random cards from a particular set. New sets of cards are released every four months, with one year's worth of releases being referred to as a block.
Regular players will want to join The Fellowship, which offers new cards regularly each month, as well as offering substantial discounts on additional card purchases, and other benefits. With membership in The Fellowship, you can build a card collection for $10-$15 a month.

Event Passes
